Codington County Sheriff Brad Howell confirms dangerous and violent assaults against the staff of the Detention Center. At the January 23, 2024, Codington County Commissioners meeting, Sheriff Howell presented in the annual report of the Detention Center that inmates are becoming more violent and there are mental health illness concerns.
